We are a Partnership Nursery with the City of Edinburgh Council, which means we have to meet and exceed certain standards and criteria. This is closely linked to the grading system used by the Care Inspectorate and Education Scotland.

As partners we are required to produce a Standards and Quality Report and Improvement Plan. This must be submitted to the authority who will respond and offer support and advice as necessary.

Copies of this are displayed in all rooms.

Benefits include access to training for staff and the allocation of a Quality Improvement Officer who will visit the site to both support and challenge.

It also means that children will receive funding through our Partnership with The City of Edinburgh Council. This takes effect the term after your child’s third birthday and applying for this grant could give you up to £2,100 per year towards your childcare.
